Updating Firmware. Skydio keeps logs of firmware updates (here). If the most recent update has been cleared by CAP HQ, the CAP/DOU can download the necessary files from a restricted portal. The files are then sent to a Wing’s DOU or X10D Point of Contact through the mail as physical storage, or forwarded through secure electronic means. If the files are delivered via physical storage through the mail, the physical storage must be mailed back to CAP HQ after the update has been completed. Members cannot download or otherwise acquire these files themselves, they must be sent to them.

Lost Link / Radio Wattage Fix. If you are experiencing lost link scenarios at less than 1000ft radius from your controller, your radio wattage may be set too low. Get into the radio wattage configuration screen and make sure it is set to US - 4W.
