1. Obtain a FEMA Student Identification Number (FEMA SID)

• Go to https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register and complete the form.
• Receive an SID

2. Register for an Account with State of Louisiana - Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP)

• Go to https://stems.gohsep.la.gov/users/new

• Register for an account

• Select Civil Air Patrol / Out of State

  

• Uncheck GOHSEP Personnel.

• Enter Civil Air Patrol / Federal in the appropriate fields.

  

3. Register for Available On Demand Courses

• Go to “Trainings” and look for “Available On-Demand Courses”. Enroll in the courses you need.
• Go through the course slide presentation. Take post-course test. It is automatically graded and a completion certificate is produced (Free).

4. Get Civil Air Patrol Credit
