1.3 - How to Become an sUAS Pilot in Command (PIC)

The first opportunity to be considered an sUAS PIC is by completing a successful Form 5U with:

  1. Rotary Wing Endorsement
  2. Recreation Pilot Endorsement

Pilots who earn these endorsements are assumed to possess the Body of Knowledge required to establish legal, insured CAP sUAS activities and fly CAP corporate sUAS competently without direct supervision.
