DJI Phantom 1, 2, and 3 aircraft in any configuration may no longer be used for Operational Missions. They may only be used for Aerospace Education or Cadet Program events, flying under FAA Recreational Rules.

When flying indoors, no Remote ID (RID) compliance measures are necessary as you are not flying inside the national airspace.

When flying outdoors, they must be flown inside Federally Recognized Identification Areas (FRIAs), unless modified with an external RID broadcast module. NHQ is not providing Remote ID modules for these airframes, but some Wings may choose to fund them independently.
